This piece is a companion to ‘Into the Tropics, No. 2’ in my eyes—I created the pieces over the course of the same week. This was the first time that I’ve experimented with moonlight in my work on a large scale, and I love the eerie, otherworldly feel that the blue hue of the lights brings.

This piece measures 43 3/4” x 63 3/4” framed, and the image measures 40”x 60”. The piece is framed with Optium True Vue museum plexiglass, for minimal glare and the highest archival quality, in a simple low profile black matte gallery frame.

Edition of 5 + 1 artist proof.

Signed and numbered on mat en verso.

Printed on 100% smooth cotton rag paper.

About this print: This piece is printed on archival Epson Hot Press 100% Cotton Rag paper. Each print comes signed and numbered on the back, and includes a certificate of authenticity from the artist. This substrate is highly susceptible to oils from our skin; handling with care prior to framing is recommended.
Shipping/framing: All prints will be shipped rolled and are sold unframed. For assistance and suggestions on framing, please reach out at hello@brookereid.com. Framing with museum glass/museum grade plexiglass is highly recommended, if possible, for the best viewing experience.
