The first in my Endless Summer series, I created this piece in the fall of 2021. I had been itching to move beyond the tabletop still life scenes and this piece was my jumping off point: an exploration into the fantastical world of tropical fruits, birds, and flowers, inspired by the work of 19th century Austrian painter, Johann Knapp.

Into the Tropics, No. 1 is offered as part of a limited edition, in two sizes:

32”x48” (edition of 5)

40”x60” (edition of 5 + 1 Artist Proof)

About this print: This piece is printed on archival Epson Hot Press 100% Cotton Rag paper. Each print comes signed and numbered on the back, and includes a certificate of authenticity from the artist. This substrate is highly susceptible to oils from our skin; handling with care prior to framing is recommended.
Shipping/framing: All prints will be shipped rolled and are sold unframed. For assistance and suggestions on framing, please reach out at hello@brookereid.com. Framing with museum glass/museum grade plexiglass is highly recommended, if possible, for the best viewing experience.
