A Feast in the Forest

Created as a custom still life in the fall of 2024, this piece builds on the world I created in an earlier piece of mine, From the Forest Floor. Inspired by the paintings of Rachel Ruysch, this piece is an abundance of otherworldly delight: butterflies move through a tangle of bittersweet that envelopes a scene that looks as if it were left on the forest floor.

This piece is offered as a limited edition in two sizes:

48”x32” (edition of 10)

60”x40” (edition of 5)

About this print: This piece is printed on archival Epson Luster photo paper, giving the deep tones in this image a vibrancy and sheen. Each print comes signed and numbered on the back, and includes a certificate of authenticity from the artist. This substrate is highly susceptible to oils from our skin; handling with care prior to framing is recommended.
Shipping/framing: All prints will be shipped rolled and are sold unframed. For assistance and suggestions on framing, please reach out at hello@brookereid.com. Framing with museum glass/museum grade plexiglass is highly recommended, if possible, for the best viewing experience.
